"It really depends on the day and how I'm feeling at the time. I take bits and pieces from different styles I like - menswear, street-wear, athletic, americana, and skate even - and with that see what works for me and what I feel comfortable in. My staple pieces have been raw denim and runners for a while now. And if my hair was shorter you would catch me with a hat on the majority of the time."

"I have a huge family in Hawaii - my mom is one of eight and all of her siblings have multiple kids. The culture there and how everyone treats each other is different than a lot places - very humble, lighthearted, and more than anything everyone just wants to have fun."

"Growing up in Berkeley, CA, my family was always much more interested in academia and issues of social justice than sports. My mom encouraged me to try everything though and put me in a soccer camp when I was really young. At the end of the week I asked her to go back - next thing I knew the summer was over and I'd been 9 weeks in a row. I never looked back."

"My mom tells me stories of my dad in his 20's when they were just beginning to date, and how he always had his own style and tailored clothes that made him stand out from the crowd. I've always had the picture of the day they walked into a Ford showroom floor and drove home in a brand new Mustang. I didn't grow up with a lot, but they taught me the value of hard work and it's something I make sure to put into the quality of everything I create. Now as a new father to Angelo, I hope to pass on to him the same legacy."

"For some it’s a musical instrument, maybe a book, a hobby, or even a childhood experience that gives us a sense of direction. For me, it was the game that helped me discover who I am. Every memory I have had in football tells a story, teaches a lesson, or represents a dream, coming together all as a part of a beautiful relationship that only continues to grow."

"I was Scottish born, American raised, but influenced by many different cultural perspectives. My family and extended friend group is everything to me but there’s always room for a bit of lighthearted banter."

"As an architect, how surface and volume come together is of great importance. Fashion is the same with seams, folds, textures, etc. The trait of good design is to continuously push how and where two things come together in unexpected and astonishing ways."

"After I was diagnosed I became an advocate for multiple sclerosis giving speeches and meeting people with MS and learning that we weren't alone in the dark with this fight. What I started to realize was that people really overlook what you can affect in the immediate. As an athlete, if you have an injury, you're proactive in trying to get back and healthy, so I want to help bring more attention to the things we can all affect in the immediate with MS, like nutrition, wellness, and exercise, and so that's where our organization We Heart Health was born."

"The beauty of the game to me is the diversity that is at it's core. This could be in different thoughts, points of view, and styles of play. There is no single right way in this sport, instead coming together here in the U.S. with unique cultural influences from all around the world. I try and live the same way - open and willing to hear, act and be influenced by all."
